Servier CDMO Website
Pharmaceutical company website built on the HubSpot CMS platform. Design is based loosely off of existing web presence but upgraded to include more interaction, mobile responsiveness, and to take advantage of built-in HubSpot marketing tools and analytics. Co-built with one other developer using Adobe comps provided by our internal design team as well as direct feedback from the client.

Responsibilities:
- Built custom templates in HubSpot for quickly prototyping web pages with the ability for easy customization.
- Designed and implemented custom modules to get around limitations built into HubSpot blog system based on client's needs to display and feature multiple separate blogs.
- Utilized jQuery & CSS to dynamically crop and center images allowing for user uploads of any size, and used Slick jQuery plugin for rotating images and news articles for slide shows.
- Built custom JavaScript solution for dynamically building rows of blog posts to make future updates seamless for client.
Nice Symposium
Event information, registration, and resource downloads page for a series of conferences
Nice Symposium
An internal project for That's Nice, the Nice Symposium website serves as an information hub for a new series of conferences recently kicked off in Durham. This site draws design inspiration from the family of That's Nice websites, and was built from design comps from our internal Design team. This project featured a tight deadline, with only about two weeks from concept to launch with new resources and deliverables arriving each day.

Responsibilities:
- Developed page templates and built out all pages with guidance from design team comps.
- Created custom jQuery solution to integrate with default HubSpot forms to implement custom fields and enrich lead generation.
- Completed full site build-out and deployment within 2-week deadline, adapting to changing requirements and new deliverables up through the last hour.
That's Nice
This project was an internal rebuild of our company's website from a fairly plain and text-heavy static site to a more dynamic and interactive design. As our own landing page, we wanted to make it easy to navigate but contain lots of content to showcase case studies and the different abilities of our agency. This project featured lots of back and forth as all major leadership in the company had input and feedback to contribute.

Responsibilities:
- Implemented jQuery plugin for client logo slideshow on homepage
- Collaborated with Design Director to gather feature feedback and manage expectations to keep project on schedule
- Built custom solution for displaying contact rows of three after one small change caused entire page to be recoded. New system adapts dynamically if new contacts are added and removed, adjusting each row as needed.
EPA Federal Facilities Dashboard
A public dashboard designed to clearly distribute information collected by the Environmental Protection Agency. Data is organized by category, sortable, and linked to corresponding data tables. Application built and designed in Oracle Application Express (APEX), charts created using AnyChart plugin. Inherited project from previous employee and served as sole developer and main point of contact for client.

Bankly
A personal finance app built on Ruby on Rails over the course of a week with a team of 4. Users can create a profile in order to log expenses and enter their monthly budget. The app then uses data visualization to give monthly breakdowns of expenses organized by category, as well as gives a full ledger of purchases.

European Honeymoon Photo Gallery
Erin and I were married in August 2015, and pursuing our love of travel we planned an extended Honeymoon abroad in Europe where we had been separately but never together. This site was built as a way to share our memories with friends and family through a full-page photo album, as well as a way to learn and practice new technologies.

Hi-Lo
This is a jQuery-powered version of the classic "Higher/Lower" card-guessing game. I wanted to create a mobile-first attractive experience that utilizes changing graphics and constant feedback to the users. This is a 2-player game, with logic built in to allow you to pass turns to the other player only after scoring 3 correct answers. I utilized the Deck of Cards API (http://deckofcardsapi.com/) for the random card selections and images, and SweetAlerts for the popup boxes.

Ludicrous Laws
I was inspired to create this game after seeing an article listing some of the weirdest laws in the country that a friend shared with me. I thought it would be even more fun to get a kick out of the humor in the laws as a head-to-head game providing an entertaining and competitive interactive experience. This is one of the first games I built, utilizing purely front end technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, and jQuery.
